Inspired by the Global Education project of UNICEF, the GWE Virtual Realty Conference, through the Silid Aklatan Project, aims to support the education of underprivileged students who cannot afford to buy expensive E-Learning tablets and to provide them the school supplies that they need to continue their studies. Silid Aklatan is a Filipino word that means library. Further, part of the proceeds from event sponsors, participants and ticket sales will be donated directly to students based in the province located in the Philippines.
