NextID Partners with Unifinity.io to issue the first of a kind blockchain certificates in the Philippines at Robolution 2019.
Manila — October 11th — At the inaugural Robolution event, students in the Philippines got a close-up view of both Robots, Automation — and the blockchain — during an impressive conference and competition professionally organized by ERovoutika International. It was successfully hosted by the University of Makati.
NextID traveled to Manila to issue blockchain certificates for the very first time to worthy winners of the Robolution 2019: Robotics and Automation contests. High school teams put their heart and soul into the programming and competitive building of anything from SumoBots to MicroMice.
Singapore’s NextID, in close partnership with Unifinity.io, the Philippine's most innovative education platform, issued commemorative blockchain certificates to all the winners of the Robolution 2019 contest. With the kind support of the Dean of University of Makati, and in association with ERovoutika the organiser of the event, NextID showed just how impactful blockchain certificates can be for students in the Philippines to own verifiable credentials — as well as keep on permanent record some exciting memories that will last a lifetime.
During the conference sessions, the blockchain itself was hailed as a powerful new technology that could help boost both the education and the careers of millions of students across the country, and through the Unifinity platform, the cost of education could be made more bearable thanks to its minimal processing fees.
On stage, NextID outlined the need for tamper-proof, fake proof and provable educational credentials that students and graduate with immediately; be proud to share (simply by using their mobile phone) or provide to employers through a QR-code scannable digital or printed certificate.
As of October 1st, both International Christian Colleges and Unifinity.io have become NextID’s official partner in the Philippines, and the first Certification has now been issued in the University of Makati!
