Award-Winning Author and Progressive Educator, Dr. Aaron Smith, signs as the new Chief of Academic Officer in Unifinity.
London — January 29, 2021 — Dr. Aaron L. Smith, an author, leading STEM school administrator, and an international professional speaker with expertise in STEM Education and Workforce Development, has signed on board to be the first Chief Academic Officer with Unifinity Integrated Solutions.
Aaron’s expertise in schools, corporate supporters, and community leaders has helped him collaborate and sustain a “diploma to dollars pipeline” of competent and job-ready employees.
At Unifinity, Aaron will direct and oversee the academic program on Amara Digital Platform.
He’ll also manage and instruct the Philippines Division to develop policies with business partners to advance their workforce development through Unifinity’s courses.
Aaron graduated from Old Dominion University with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. He has over two decades of experience in the classroom as a mathematics teacher and an administrator. Accolades include receiving the Crystal Star Award from the National Dropout Prevention Center and has been frequently referenced in over 40 publications.
His first book, Awakening Your STEM School, helps readers understand STEM and provide a blueprint to change their school into an elite STEM Center.
In 2020, he authored Blank Check: What If You Were Asked To Help Reinvent Public Schools, where a troubled teenager and burnt out principal lead an island on a daring education experiment.
Aaron resides in Chesapeake, VA.
